Basic information: The event is open to veterinarians, producers, and veterinary students. The course will include several lecture-based presentations on parasite control and management, as well as various interactive demonstrations learning how to use the FAMACHA system and its application in fecal analysis. Sheep, goats, and llamas will be available for participants to practice using the FAMACHA system on. Fecal samples will also be available for participants to learn how to run and interpret fecals. The price of the event includes lunch, hands on experience, certification, and a FAMACHA Scoring Card.
